MUSIC STARS UNITE FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY AT LONDON’S ROYAL ALBERT HALL ON MARCH 31ST 2005.

Some stars of the musical world have agreed to perform at a major one-off benefit concert at London‘s Royal Albert Hall in aid of the victims of December’s Tsunami disaster in South East Asia. Confirmed performers (in alphabetical order) include Aled Jones, Amici Forever, Bond, Celtic Tenors, Duel, Emma Johnson, English Chamber Orchestra, G4, Julian Lloyd Webber and his new Bossanova Band, Keedie, Opera Babes and Russell Watson.

Minnetonka moccasins are breaking sales records, thanks to celebrity fans, reports the Boston Metro.

 

In response to the question "How do French women diet?", Mireille Guiliano, author of French Women Don't Get Fat:  The Secret of Eating for Pleasure, said, "They cut their meat up in smaller pieces.  They eat more fish than vegetables and more vegetables than fruit.  And they eat at least two yogurts a day," as quoted by Elizabeth Manus in an interview published in Boston Metro.

Last night Kelley Perdew, a West Point grad who has served in the military, was chosen as Donald Trump's Apprentice in the final Apprentice episode of the show's second season.  Jennifer Massey, a graduate of Harvard Law School, was not chosen.  Was the show intended to be a glorification of the military and a rejection of the Harvard Law School, which has had a policy of excluding military recruiters from the campus?

The movie Bridget Jones's Diary was pleasant, with some very funny moments, but on the whole not as funny as I recall the book being.
