Tenor Thomas Rolf Truhitte sang the title role in performances of Lohengrin in Spoleto, Italy, in June and July 2003.

Tenor Thomas Rolf Truhitte is the son of Daniel Truhitte , who played Rolf Gruber in the movie The Sound of Music . 

Thomas Rolf Truhitte is  scheduled to sing Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Florestan in Fidelio with the Virginia Opera in its 2003-2004 season.
